January 21, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – Ginga Atlanta's Welder Barros Perreira has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Perreira scored three goals in the UPSL 2020 Fall Season Round of 16 National Playoff Game on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. Perreira played 90 minutes for Ginga Atlanta (17-0-0 overall) in the 4-0 victory.

A graduate of Gremio's youth academy, Perreira previously played with Atletico Gioaniense in the Brasileiro Serie A. He has 15 goals and four assists for Ginga Atlanta this season.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll..
