January 25, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – UPSL Women is pleased to announce Monterey County SC Jaguars as its newest expansion team ahead of the Spring Season.

Based in Salinas, CA, MCSC Jaguars will begin play in the Western Conference. The club will host its UPSL home games at Alisal High School (777 Williams Road, Salinas, CA 93905).

Monterey County SC has been a member of the UPSL Western Conference since 2019. The club is operated by its board of directors.

UPSL Women National Director Paul Caligiuri said, "We are excited to be able to welcome MCSC Jaguars to the Western Conference. The club has a strong history of success and an excellent stable of coaches and directors. It's a first class group all the way around and one of strongest clubs in CalNorth. We wish the Jaguars success as they prepares for the Spring Season."

A multiple-time CalNorth State Cup champion, Monterey County Soccer Club currently features competitive and recreational circuit teams and programs for boys and girls of all ages, servicing more than 5,000 players in the Salinas Valley and surrounding areas.

Monterey County SC Jaguars Owner and General Manager Jorge Rojas said, "We are excited for the level of interest in the women's team and very hopeful that this team can be very successful in its first season. The Salinas Valley is overflowing with talent and providing women an opportunity to play at the premier level is exactly what we are trying to do here at MCSC Jaguars."
